Just starting to figure out how to make my camera work

Critiques are most certainly encouraged, please help me learn and improve
Interests
I just wanted to say thank you to all my watchers and to all the people who have :+fav:'d my work. Over the past few weeks I have received so much support and positive comments on my photography so this has been really motivational for me. The photos I have been creating in the past month have been a far cry from what I was making a year ago when I first got my camera and I am hoping that in another year's time that I will be able to produce some work that is actually good!

I never suspected that so many people would appreciate the things I see :D

Hello Lauren.

I've just had a brief look trough your gallery.
What I see, is definatly worth being. You have talent and truly wish you the very best of whatever lies ahead of you. Your gallery is full of emotional and beautifull pictures that tells probably more than most of the photographs on our world do.

Do keep working on them and I'm sure you'll be reaching new levels soon!

Thank you so very, very much. I keep looking at other fantastic photographers work, including your amazing landscapes, and realise that I have a huge way to go but I am enjoying learning but find it really hard sometimes when what I want to create is currently outside my realms of experience :P

I am really at the stage now where I need help from people who actually know what they are talking about to let me know where I am going wrong!

Well, To be honest, I really appreciate your comment :p
I find my work always lower than the avarage photographer, which may be good for making improvements, but sometimes works very frustrating to myself. I think that's what every photographer does, as they're 'used' to their work and it's not something new.

You're heading pretty well on that long-road we all want to see the end of, but it's really worth stopping by and look to the amount of kilometers you already travelled. I think you're already doing great and that I'm looking forward to your improve even more over this year.

Anyhow, If you need personal help with anything in photography, such as making a photograph that you don't directly have an idea of, feel free to tell me, I'm always happy to tell everything I know :p

That is really true what you said about being used to your own photography, I haven't thought of it that way before but it really makes sense :)

If your work is lower than the average photographer then I don't even dare to call myself a photographer at the moment :P I really do appreciate the offer for help though, I have found that some people are really not interested in helping at all, they just want to criticise and insult instead of offering to share what they can to help others improve in the art. Oh well, bad eggs everywhere!!
